Pascagoula, MS -- First Environmental Nationwide was the emergency response contractor awarded the cleaning contract of the USS Cole in 2000-2001. First Environmental Nationwide was the first responder once the ship was returned back to the United States and worked in accordance with the Navy, FBI and a private shipbuilding company in Mississippi. First Environmental Nationwide provided cleaning of all spaces associated with the blast area and management of all wastes generated.

Anchorage, AK -- Cleanup of a spill of oil, natural gas and water from a Prudhoe Bay pipeline continued Friday, state environmental officials said. The incident appears to have mostly involved release of natural gas. Among the liquids spilled, more of it was water than oil. The spill occurred at a plant that separates oil from the natural gas and water involving Alaskas largest oil field.
